Hello everyone,
Thanks for checking the website. I want to say I am sorry for not getting a newsletter out. I have been busy honest.
Well first we are in the middle of recording the new Waysted album and it is going very well. But we have got to get the great Mr. Fin over to finish some vocals. I am looking forward to getting some sound up on the web. I am sure you will love it.
Well I did an acoustic UFO set at Alice Coopers restaurant in Cleveland for the brave words and bloody knuckles festiville. Also Tim Owens from Judas Priest was playing so it was nice to see him again. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Then before I knew it Paul Chapman came from Florida and we did three shows, which was like a party for old friends. Joe Kleon recorded two of the shows. Some audio clips are up on the website. So that was very nice. I am looking forward to doing some live Waysted shows. It will be fun just playing bass again although I still sing once in a while. It will be good to watch Phil or Fin sing.
I have got to tell you as much as I like socializing, I have seen Def Leppard three times now this summer and I love hanging out with Joe and the boys. But itching to do a lot of nonstop touring myself and let some other lazy devil drink my booze after the show. Incidently I thought the boys were great, so see them if you get the chance.
I got to hang out with my old friend Steve Harris as Iron Maiden was in town. Everyone should have a friend like Steve. He is special. I also got to sample Mr. Ronnie Dios wine and hang out with my rock legend buddy Lemmy from Motorhead. I knew every member that played in the show. I had a great time. All three bands were excellent.
Of course I would not tell you different as the next time the boys are in town I would have to pay for my drinks. It is a great show so go and catch it.
Well I got to say I am excited about UFO. It is almost in place. My old friend
Paul Raymond, Jason Bonham , and the legendary Vinny Moore. Not forgetting the old fella singing, Phill Mogg. Watch this space for more info.
I hope you guys have enjoyed the Plot. I would still like do a follow up with the mistro Schenker. I guess time will only tell.
My beloved Princess passed away recently. She was as much of a rock and roll dog as there has ever been. She will be missed all that new her.
The contest continues on the website www.peteway.net for the autographed guitar. Ibanez makes great stuff and I know you will love it. Head to the site for all the details.
Well the British premier league starts this Saturday. Hide all sharp objects. Villa will do well this season.
All the best,
Pete
P.S. Any questions on any of this just get in touch. Also thanks to Ben Jackson and the guys from breaker for the their great performance with me at the acoustic UFO show at Alice Coopers restaurant.
